About MyPlace Youth and Community Centre

The MyPlace centre in Harold Hill is the Councils’ flagship multi-million pound youth and community centre, which has provided first class facilities for everyone since its opening in 2012.

We serve the community by providing a welcoming space for residents to visit for educational, health, cultural and social activities.

We are open 7 days a week and the building boasts an impressive performance hall, music room, games room, art room, youth lounge, health room, counselling room, large meeting room and Playdays Nursery setting.

We also have a café and soft-play which is open all day.

Residents and businesses are welcome to book rooms at competitive rates

Our partners in the building provide counselling, health information and advice as well as a wide variety of activities for young people and the community.

From involvement in the original design and construction, to all the activities we offer, young people are at the heart of everything that MyPlace does.

The Havering Youth Service is also based within the building and delivers a packed programme of activities for young people to enjoy, including youth clubs, sports, Duke of Edinburgh awards, youth action, music and arts projects.

These projects allow the Youth Team work with young people of Havering to enable them to have improved outcomes, through informal education, positive activities, mentoring, personal and social development programmes.

The Centre has gone from strength to strength in the last few years, and is a huge part of the Youth Service offer to young people and the community, with more than 80,000 visitors to the centre annually.

We also list some activities, such as between term time activities, on our event calendar. Take a look at the listings for MyPlace.
