The development at the former Solar Serena Sunrise sheltered scheme has created 175 high-quality new homes in a retirement community village for the over 55’s.
The village sits on the edge of the Green Flag-winning Harrow Lodge Park, which benefits from lakes, reservoirs, wildlife and open green spaces.
The new homes are also a short walk to Hornchurch Town Centre, home to popular shops, cafes and restaurants.
Did you know?
The colour scheme is designed according to a ‘sunrise’ theme, after the name of the road, Sunrise Avenue.
There will be new homes available as ‘shared ownership’ for the over 55’s, as well as new council properties to rent from Autumn 2023.
The project will create 22 local jobs and provide 1,148 apprenticeship training weeks on site.
39 local people will be supported through qualifications as a result of this project.

At Park Rise living is easy.
The high-quality apartments alongside Harrow Lodge Park have been designed and built exclusively for over 55s to live independent lives whilst being part of a wider community.
Whether you’re leading an active life, enjoying a quiet retirement, or need a little help and support, Park Rise is the perfect home. Future-proof, low maintenance apartments set around beautiful central landscaped gardens provide contemporary comfort in a stunning parkside setting.
It takes all types to make a community, and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to meet your new neighbours in the shared indoor and outdoor spaces or by joining in the many activities on offer. If needed, help is at hand from the estate manager.
At Park Rise living together is a pleasure.
