Local support for your symptoms – Physical health

Long covid physical health

There are various services and activities available in Havering which you may wish to access to aid your Long Covid rehabilitation.

Please note however, that to ensure we do no harm in Long Covid rehabilitation, screening and close monitoring for post-exertional symptom exacerbation, or post-exertional malaise is recommended.

Graded exercise therapy (GET) is not recommended.

Education about the importance of therapeutic rest and sleep, as well as skills for planning, pacing and prioritising activity and energy levels, for example, are beneficial to avoid a boom-and-bust cycle of symptoms.

Exercise on Referral for Long Covid, Everyone Active
