The event will be focusing on providing a real insight into these different post-16 pathways.
Young people from across Havering are invited to the LA’s free annual event, to find out about apprenticeships, the T Level qualification and supported internships that are a work-based study programme for 16 to 24-year-olds with SEND.
The event will be focusing on providing learners with:
- an insight into apprenticeships with local apprenticeship providers from all the sectors exhibiting along with and local employers who will discuss schemes from an employer’s point of view
- information from local colleges offering T Levels, which were launched in 2020 and are technicalbased qualifications backed by the Government and developed in collaboration with employers and businesses
- information from local providers offering supported internships, supporting young people with EHC plans to gain paid employment
There are two time slots available, 5pm to 6.15pm and 6.15pm to 7.30pm (last entry 7pm).
