Parking permits

Our parking permits are virtual which means you do not get a paper permit to display on your vehicle.

Our enforcement officers scan your licence plate and cross reference it with our records to check you are parked correctly.

We work with MiPermit to administer permits in Havering and you can buy and make changes to your permits through their dedicated permit managing website or app that you can download to your phone.

Virtual permits that you can buy include resident parking permits, business permits and permits for your visitors, deliveries, builders and home removals.

Please note that blue badge permit applications are not available as virtual permits through MiPermit. Please go to the Blue Badge applications webpage to apply.

Buy a permit through MiPermit

To buy a permit please select what you would like from the list on the MiPermit website and enter your details.

You'll be asked to create an account during the process of buying your first permit (not before) which you can then login to for further permits and to make changes.

Please note that once you make an account with MiPermit this will be a new account with MiPermit only and it is not your My Havering account login, or other Havering account login you may have with us.

For customers whom do not have access to the Internet and are therefore unable to create an account, please call the MiPermit assistance helpline on 0345 520 7007 for help in creating an account and accessing permits or telephone 01708 431826 for further advice and support.
