We provide help to people aged 18 and over living in Havering who have a learning disability through the Community Learning Disability Team (CLDT)
This includes people who have:
- physical and/or sensory disabilities
- speech and language difficulties
- difficulties in social functioning
- concurrent mental health problems
- challenging behaviour
- epilepsy
The CLDT is a joint health and social services team and offers adults with a learning disability and their carers advice, information and support.
The team is also responsible for: care planning assessment specialist health care purchasing of appropriate care packages.
The team consists of:
- team manager

- community learning disability nurses
- psychologists
- speech and language therapists
- physiotherapists
- psychiatrists
- consultant psychiatrists
- business support team
- art therapists
- occupational therapists
