Langtons Summer Concert

This weekend (Sunday 19 June 2022) will see a welcome return of the Langtons Summer Concert. The Concert last took place in 2019 after a number of cancellations due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

Set in the ground of Langtons Gardens, this year’s concert will enjoy a special Platinum Jubilee theme to commemorate the Queen’s historic 70 years of service.

The Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra will once again take to the stage, as they did for the first Langtons Summer Concert a quarter of a century ago to deliver a light selection of classical favourites.

Councillor Ray Morgon, Leader of Havering Council, said:

“We’re really excited that Langtons Summer Concert will be returning this Sunday, 19 June.

“After a two-year absence, we’ll be bringing back the well-known and much-loved Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra.

"They will be playing some light traditional classics, in the spirit of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

“The summer concert has always been a favourite as it provides a great community atmosphere, while welcoming guests from our neighbouring boroughs in Essex and London.”

West and Coe are continuing to sponsor the concert and Mullis and Peake LLP Solicitors and Moore Kingston Smith are new for this year as co-sponsors.

The event is also supported by the The Friends of Langtons Estate who will be providing refreshments, with money raised being reinvested back into the gardens.

Doors open at 1.30pm on Sunday 19 June 2022 and tickets are available on the day (£6) or save by booking in advance (£4).

Free admission for under 10s, no dogs are permitted except assistance dogs.
