Crowds of people gathered over the weekend to enjoy a classical music show-stopper as the Langtons summer concert returned to Havering with a sold-out crowd of 2,000 guests.
Set in the grounds of a sun-soaked Langtons Gardens, the concert took place on Sunday 11 June 2023.
It saw the Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra take to the stage once again, as they did for the first Langtons Summer Concert over a quarter of a century ago, delivering a light selection of classical favourites.
The Leader of Havering Council, Councillor Ray Morgon, said:
“Thanks to all 2,000 attendees who turned out and contributed to a special atmosphere at the Langtons Summer Concert on Sunday.
“The event proves to be even more popular than ever each year, with a sold-out crowd enjoying wonderful music from The Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra.
“The concert is a local favourite, as it provides a great sense of community.
“A big thanks to main event sponsor West and Coe Funeral Directors and supporting sponsor Mullis and Peake LLP Solicitors.
“The continued efforts of the Friends of Langtons Estate is also greatly appreciated who provide refreshments for guests on the day.”
