Tomorrow, Thursday 2 May 2024, Londoners go to the polls to elect a Mayor of London and 25 London Assembly Members.
Havering residents are reminded that under new requirements they will need to take valid photographic ID when attending their designated polling station.
To find out which ID you can use in the polling station, visit the Electoral Commission website.
On 2 May 2024, Londoners can only vote at their designated polling station. Poll cards detailing this information have been sent to all registered electors.
Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday 2 May 2024.
An online tool has is also available to help Londoners locate their polling stations. To use this, please visit the London Elects website.
How to vote
In this election, there are three ballot papers.
- Pink Ballot Paper – London Mayor
- Yellow Ballot Paper – London Assembly (Constituency) Member
- Orange Ballot Paper – Assembly Member (London-wide)
Verification of the number of ballot papers will take place on Friday 3 May 2024.
Votes for each of the three contests will be counted on Saturday 4 May 2024.
