Business owners have a strict duty to make professional arrangements for the disposal of trade waste according to the Duty of Care processes of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
When contracting a company to remove trade waste, businesses must ensure they have a waste carriers licence. They must also supply a Duty of Care Transfer.
