Lamp controller

What is a lamp controller?

The lamp controller allows a standard mains power socket to function as a remotely controlled switch which can then be used to turn a lamp on or off depending on the signal received from a suitable bed or chair sensor.

How does it work?

The lamp controller plugs into a existing mains power socket. This allows and device plugged into it to be operated remotely in response to a signal from the careline. It is most used to switch a lamp on and off to provide a safer environment when getting into or out of bed.

Who is it for?

People with limited mobility, sensory impairment or dementia.
